• With a deep sense of exhilaration and delegation I present the annual report of the year 2018-19.
  • The students started their academic journey on 4 June 2018 with a rise in student enrollment to 615.
  • The evaluation system remained the same as previous years by ensuring the all-round development of students in many fields.
  • Developing communication skills is one of the basic objectives of the school benefitting the students, two communication skill periods are added in school timetable from class I to VII that trains and promote all the four listening, speaking, reading and writing skills of the students.
  • The well-equipped computer lab with 15 computers supports the children with practical knowledge to move in along with digital technologies.
  • Being responsible members of the society students are encouraged to plant saplings and take care of them during gardening period.
  • Like last year, this year too students rendered their helping hand to the underprivileged and donated the fund to Kerala flood Relief and Nambikkai Vaasal Trust, an industrial training centre for the physically challenged.
  • As a part of field trip, our students visited Abdul Kalam memorial and Vivekananda Memorial hall to know about the great legends. Students had an education trip to Sundaramudayan to know in detail about plantation.

  • Students of std VI & VII participated in Recitation and Elocution organized by Vivekanandar committee at United Schools and state level participants of Thulir project, implementing organic farming demo on Agricultural practices.
  • Primary students of the school bagged I, II & III prizes of drawing contests organized by Tamilnadu Jawahar kids club and LIC of India.
  • Encouraging the competitive spirit of the all the students, the school organized Elocution, drawing, poster making and science model competitions for all classes on Abdul Kalam Remembrance Day and awarded the winners.
  • The school has pride to announce, our students are the gold medalists of District Level Skating tournament, bagged 2nd place by procuring over all championship of Taekwondo and state level participants of carom contest. Exhibiting the analytical and reasoning skills in talent exams, students brought laurels to schools by attaining gold medals is ASSET and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Silver Olympiad Exams.
  • Our students were the active participants of Intraschool Science Project contest organized by Abdul Kalam Igniting Minds. The best innovative projects were identified and awarded.
  • Students of std: III to VII were motivated to enhance their memory skills by reciting and writing 100 Tirukkural couplets in the 8th year Tirukkural Velvi content organized by Ramnad Tamil Sangam.
  • Bringing harmony in diversity is the prime motto. Enriching this thought festivals like Pongal, Christmas, Ramzan and Independence Day are celebrated with full zeal. This year students exhibited a tableau featuring fundamental rights on Republic Day Celebration.
  • Creating awareness theme-oriented skit and mime show were staged on Girl Child Day, Science Day and World Forest Day.
  • Each year, on the most special day “Grandparents Day”. The grandparents of our students are invited to schools to spend a day with their grandchildren by participating in various activities. This year the highlight were traditional cookery and storytelling.
  • Promoting global education and assessment, the school is in the up with CCRE (Centre for Corrective Reforms in Education) allied with MHRD to bring a reformation in education.
  • The passionate teachers are trained to adopt skill-based teaching methodology to foster activity-based stress-free education and evaluation that encompass most of the 21st century skills.
  • Happily I conclude that this project would soon highlight our school as a model school in the Ramanathapuram district.
